Project Two: News Report
- Go to the website, The Weather Channel, to view the daily 5-day for Folsom. Type in the zip code or city to see your city's weather report. Folsom's zip code is 08037.
- The students will watch a local weather, sports, and entertainment reports. Focus on the technique used by the reporter as they convey the news. Pay special attention to the props, maps, images, background and symbols that are used to present the report.
- Each student will prepare a 2-3 minute news report to present to the class. The student will use appropriate props, symbols, maps, and pictures to present the weather.
- Present on FTN morning announcements.
