The covers and videos on this page are provided to give you  inspiration for your magazine cover. Application of Photoshop tools and techniques will be reviewed step-by-step with the teacher. 
 
DO NOW:  Use headphones to review videos below.  You may use your own headphones if they are in this classroom but can not leave to get them out of your locker or elsewhere.

Create a Cover Using MS PowerPoint

Students will create a magazine cover utilizing advanced MS PowerPoint elements 
 IDENTIFY COVER ELEMENTS (Power Standards 1 and 2)

1. MAGAZINE FOCUS: Students will create a magazine cover featuring you!
2. THEME: Identify magazine cover theme and elements.

1. Create magazine cover template,
2. Name your document with your Last Name First Name Class Number and COVER
3. Save in your Graphic Design folder in students on FOL_DC1
4. Add magazine cover elements including
   1. Masthead,
   2. 3 Cover Lines
   3. Main Image (you)
   4.  Background Isolated photo of yourself
   5. Application of  three different special effects or tools.
