ASSIGNMENT: TOUCH TYPING
Students will:
Agenda books will be checked/graded next week.
Students will:
- Enter class and begin DO NOW: Sign into Typing Quest and begin self-paced lessons
- Mute the volume of computer if it is on. Students should not use headsets or mice for this assignment
- Complete at least three lessons and one typing test. They can take the test more than once. This is a GRADED assignment.
- Write their NWPM and lesson number completed in their agenda book under today's date.

GRADES K-2: Aid in classroom to assist (30 minute period)
Grades 3-5: (45 minute period)
- FOCUS: Touch Type/Keyboarding
- PROCEDURE:
- Students will sign into Keyboarding without Tears.
- Teacher will assist students with computer/account sign-in, and monitor progress.

- Assist students with TypingQuest sign in if needed.
- Remind students that Usernames and passwords are written in front of student's agenda book. (most will recall)
- Password: folsom1
- Username Format: students first and last names (lowercase, no caps, no spaces) and their section number eg: josephsmith502k
- Remind students that their agenda books will be checked/graded next week.
